We are in the heart of Arles, near the most important tourist attractions of the city.
The Greeks settled in ARLES around 540 BC. Then in 46 BC Julius Caesar founded a Roman colony there. The city became very prosperous and superb monuments classified as World Heritage by Unesco bear witness to this today.
On 3000 m² of permanent exhibition, the museum brings together all of the Arlesian Ancient heritage.
The museum, located in a former Commandery of Malta, brings together art collections from the 13th to the 19th century and 57 drawings by Picasso.
